About CambridgeEndo
A Surgical Revolution in Hand
Cambridge Endo was founded in 2004 by experienced medical device entrepreneurs Woojin Lee and Jack Jacobson with the goal of revolutionizing least invasive surgery through a proprietary platform technology in endoscopic and laparoscopic instrumentation. Working collaboratively with the surgical community, Cambridge Endo is committed to developing and delivering hand-held instruments that enable easy access and unparalleled control.
Enhancing Pure Laparoscopic Performance
Only Cambridge Endo has the Autonomy™ Laparo-Angle™ Instrument line, the first true advancement in hand-held laparoscopic instruments. Products include a Needle Holder, Metzenbaum Scissors, Maryland Dissector and Electrosurgery Hook.
With a proprietary, advanced articulating tip controlled by the handle, these instruments have the advantage of providing the full seven degrees of freedom previously available only with a surgical robot. With seven degrees of freedom, difficult to access sites can now be easily reached, and the distal tip can be positioned in the optimal orientation for an action. The unique ergonomic handle is designed for single-handed (left or right handed) control and comfort during any laparoscopic procedure. Unlike the surgical robot, Autonomy™ Laparo-Angle™ Instruments require no special setup time, maintenance, handling or capital expenditure.
Autonomy™ Laparo-Angle™ Instruments enhance pure laparoscopic performance to provide unprecedented surgical access and control.
Easier Access in More Laparoscopic Procedures
Autonomy™ Laparo-Angle™ Instruments open new possibilities in least invasive surgery.
