Woojin Lee, PhD, President and Founder, Director

Dr. Lee received his PhD in robotics and mechanical engineering from MIT. A co-founder of endoVia Medical, Inc., he lead the development of advanced surgical robotic systems for laparoscopic and endoluminal surgery. Dr. Lee is the primary inventor in 14 issued and over 40 pending US patents. Dr. Lee has close working relationships with an extensive network of surgeons and an intimate understanding of the minimally invasive surgery market. In addition to his PhD, he received both his B.S. and his M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from MIT.


Phil Henderson, V.P. Operations, Director

Mr. Henderson has a wealth of experience with medical devices. He has held senior executive positions at Baxter Healthcare, and was President of Burron Medical Products, Inc. and CEO of Memtek Corporation. He has also been involved in four start-ups serving in roles of CEO, President, founder and board member. He brings broad expertise in growing technology companies. Mr. Henderson has a BS from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from Harvard Business School.


Peter W. Jenkins, V.P. Market Development and Sales

Mr. Jenkins has over 15 years of experience in directing sales and market development efforts for various medical device start ups. Prior to that he held marketing roles at Boston Scientific where he was responsible for product management and market development in international markets. His initial sales experience was gained at Ethicon, a division of Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Jenkins earned his B.A. degree in Sociology from Washington College.


Alan Panzer, Director

Mr. Panzer was Group President of the Tyco Healthcare Surgical Division from 1998-2007 with line responsibility for both United States Surgical and the Valleylab Company. He began his career with Tyco Healthcare in May of 1991 as the Vice President of Sales/Kendall Vascular Therapy Division. He went on to become the Vice President of Sales for the Kendall Company, then President of the Kendall Vascular Therapy Division before being appointed Group President of the Surgical Division. Prior to joining Tyco Healthcare, Mr. Panzer held various sales-related positions in the medical device and pharmaceutical industry.


Kevin Seifert, Director

Mr. Seifert is the CEO of Facet Technologies, and he brings 20 years of senior management experience in the medical device industry with extensive experience with both major companies in the industry and start-up companies. Previously, he was Senior Vice President at Nova BioMedical, President of the Valleylab Company, Vice President, Strategic Planning and Business Development of Tyco Healthcare, President of Terumo Medical Corporation North America, and President of Global Diabetes Care, Becton Dickinson.


Walter A. Winshall, Director

Mr. Winshall is a principal in Collaborative Seed and Growth Partners, LLC, an investment firm specializing in the commercialization of early-stage technology. Previously, he was a co-founder and Chairman of SilverPlatter International, NV, a software company providing information services for libraries, which was acquired by the Dutch publishing company Wolters Kluwer in 2001. He graduated from MIT in electrical engineering and from the Harvard Law School.
